Why ABCA Membership?

2011-2012 Membership Roster

Hello Arizona Basketball Coaches, JOIN NOW!

I hope you have all had a great summer.  As you know we had some terrific Senior and Under Classman All Star Games in May, and then in June, we had our Summer State Championship Games at A.S.U. Wells Fargo Arena with Basha High School defeating Agua Fria for the Championship on the boys side and South Mountain beating Marana for the girls State Summer Championship.

We are gearing up the 2011-2012 season, and are accepting membership registrations for your Arizona Basketball Coaches Association.  The cost is only $35 dollars a coach, or your can purchase “School Membership” at a super value of $100 dollars.  The “School Membership” allows you to register up to 10 Coaches/Staff/Administration from your school boys and or girls. Many schools last year got their School or School District to cover the cost.

Registration can be done on our website. Register Today!

There are many issues that impact the future of high school basketball.  As a basketball association we would like to address each of the following issues and any others that will help promote this great game in a positive way.

  • overlapping seasons between football, basketball and baseball
  • power points system
  • playoff formats
  • conference classifications
  • all-star selection process
  • transfer rules
  • off-season participation
  • 3-man officiating crews
  • referee evaluation system
  • shot clock
  • relationships with the A.I.A., school administrators, parents, and club ball programs
  • opportunities to serve as a region rep and vote on basketball issues in your conference

If we all band together, we can make a positive difference in this great game of basketball in our state.  Please come join with us.  HOW TO JOIN!
